Use of Singular and plural verb
Use of singular or plural pronouns

 when two or more singular noun are joint by "and" the pronoun used for them should be plural 
Ex- Ram and Shyam are friends. They play football.

But when these two nouns refer to the same person /thing the pronoun used for them should be singular 
Ex- Ram, my friend and principal of college is known for his good behaviour.
Ex- Delhi the beautiful city and capital of India is famous for his historical monuments.

when two singular noun are joint by and but refer to different person or thing the pronoun used for them should be plural

Ex-  The manager and owner of firm Express his view on the topic.

 Example 2 - The party chief and the PM Express their view on the topic.


When two noun are joint by "as well as" the pronoun is used agree with the first subject.
example - Mohan as well as his friends is doing his work.
The teachers as well as the students are doing their work.

two subject or noun when joint by "with" the pronoun agree with noun coming before with.
 example - The boy with his parents has gone to see a movie.
The children with their parents have gone to see a movie.

when to noun are joint with following words then Noun come according to 1st subject

 as well as, with, along with, together with, in addition to, but, besides, except, rather than, like, unlike, no less than, nothing but, accompanied by

When two noun are joint by "and" are preceded by "each or every" the pronoun used must be singular and must agree in gender with second noun

 example- Each boy and each girl went her house.

example 2 - Every woman and every man will do his best for the nation.

 each and every words are always singular
